Montrose, COLO.—Montrose County invites community members to a public meeting for a significant transition in the region's case management services. Effective March 1, 2024, Montrose County will become the Case Management Agency for all individuals seeking Long Term Care Services and Supports in Montrose, Ouray, and San Miguel counties.
To kick-off this transition, we invite all community members and partners to join us for a special meeting on Jan. 30 from 4-5:30pm at the Montrose County Event Center (1036 N 7th St, Montrose). At this event, county staff will provide essential information about the upcoming transition and address questions. The county is committed to transparency and community involvement, and values community input in shaping the future of the region's case management services.
The meeting will help regional residents gain information regarding Long Term Care Services and Supports in the area as well as gain a deeper understanding of the Case Management Agency transition. Also, attendees will hear from state partners, including Amanda Lofgren from Health Care Policy and Finance and Julie Reiskin from the Colorado Cross Disability Coalition. Lastly, this meeting is an opportunity to connect with fellow community members and share thoughts.
