Montrose, COLO.—Beginning April 17, Montrose County and Mountain Valley Contracting will resume work to implement the construction of a traffic signal located at the intersection of Chipeta Rd and Highway 550. Improvements include traffic signals, curb and gutter, and striping.
Project Schedule and Information
The project will restart on April 17. The project will be in operation Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with night work on Wednesday April 19. The anticipated completion date is late April 28.
Travel & Other Impacts
A northbound and southbound right shoulder closure on HWY 550 at Chipeta Road will be in effect for the majority of the duration of the project. There will be traffic holds in all directions, day time single lane closures with flaggers in all directions will be in place. Any other lane closures will be posted on COtrip.org.
