RENEWALS
All liquor licenses (state and county) must be renewed annually. Approximately 90 days prior to the expiration of any liquor license, the Department of Revenue will send a renewal notice with required forms, to licensee. If this is not received, contact the Department of Revenue Liquor License office at 1-303-205-2341 or visit their website by clicking here.
Renewal forms need to be completed and sent with applicable fees to:
City of Montrose
Attention: Lisa DelPiccolo
433 S 1st Street
Montrose, CO 81401
Submit forms at least 45 days prior to the expiration of the license, in order to allow for sufficient time for necessary processing and coordination between the County and State licensing authorities.
SPECIAL EVENT PERMITS
The State of Colorado allows Colorado Counties to choose to have total supervision of Special Event Permits. Montrose County takes this option, which negates any State fees, but requires completion of the State Special Events application form [https://www.colorado.gov/enforcement/liquor] submitted with the fee of $100.
