Citizens interested in applying to fill a board, commission, or committee vacancy will submit an application for appointment. Applications are available on-line or at the County Administration Building, located at 317 S 2nd St. All applications for appointment will be reviewed by the BOCC.
Please follow the steps outlined below to apply for a board, commission, or committee:
Complete the application, paying particular attention to fill out the section specific to the board, commission, or committee you are applying to.
Submit the application by the posted deadline and return to the County Administration Building at 317 S 2nd St, or fax to 970-249-7761.
Final candidates will be contacted to schedule an interview with the Board of County Commissioners.
The BOCC will appoint selected candidates to fill existing vacancies to the board, commission, or committee.
All applicants will be expected to sign the Montrose County Conflict of Interest Policy as part of the application process.
