Kristin D. Pulatie, JD MPH

Kristin has experience in law and public health, as well as association management and policy and advocacy. Prior to moving to Montrose, Kristin served as Health Policy and Advocacy Manager for two specialized medical associations. She also practiced law at a large plaintiff’s firm specializing in medical malpractice. Kristin relocated to Montrose to accept the position of Clinical Program Manager for Health and Human Services, overseeing multiple health programs. She also acted as Special Assistant County Attorney supporting Child Support Services prior to becoming Director of HHS. Kristin served on the Board of the Colorado Public Health Association (CPHA) as the Director of Public Health Policy from 2013 – 2015.

Ms. Pulatie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of Colorado, Boulder as well as a Juris Doctorate from DePaul University College of Law and a Master of Public Health from University of Illinois, Chicago.

Ms. Pulatie grew up in Arizona but fell in love with the mountains while living in Boulder. She spent 9 years in downtown Chicago after college before deciding that she needed more wilderness in her life! Kristin is an avid Blackhawks and Buffaloes fan and loves watching hockey and college football. In her free time, Kristin trains for marathons and triathlons and plans on competing in her 8th marathon and her 4th Ironman in 2016. She also enjoys traveling, most recently mountain-biking in Thailand and trekking in Peru. When she is home, she adores spending time with her new hound dog, Ridley.
